Caring For Your Jewellery

Caring for your jewellery will help preserve its beauty and finish for years to come. Each piece is designed to be worn and enjoyed. With a little care in how it is worn, stored and cleaned, your jewellery will remain beautiful.

All sterling silver will naturally tarnish over time. The rate of oxidation varies depending on skin chemistry, environment and how often the piece is worn.

To maintain its shine:

  • Polish gently with a soft silver cloth

  • Store in a dry sealed place when not worn

  • Avoid prolonged contact with perfumes, lotions and water

Wearing your jewellery regularly can help slow tarnishing, as natural skin oils keep the surface bright.

Sterling Silver

Gold

Solid gold requires minimal maintenance and will not tarnish like silver. However, it can develop surface scratches over time.

To care for gold:

  • Store separately to prevent scratching

  • Remove before swimming or using household chemicals

  • Clean occasionally with lukewarm soapy water and a soft brush

Gold is durable and designed to be worn and enjoyed daily.

Cleaning & storage

When not wearing your jewellery:

  • Store pieces individually to prevent rubbing

  • Keep in a dry environment

  • Avoid exposure to humidity

For a deeper clean, use mild soapy water and a soft brush, then dry thoroughly with a lint-free cloth.

Avoid harsh chemical cleaners unless specifically designed for fine jewellery.

General Care

Jewellery is strongest when worn, but we recommend removing pieces before:

  • Heavy manual work

  • Exercise or sport

  • Sleeping

Each piece is handcrafted and should be treated with care to preserve its detail and finish for years to come.
